Third draft There are many debates surrounding the issue of global organizations aiding poor nations. Those who support financial resource tend to emphasise on its benefits, but the others, myself included, prefer providing technical and practical assistance. To begin with, technology is the main driving force for economic development. For instance, Africa's farming industry has increased dramatically since the past thirty years by adopting the most advanced farming technology offered by World Bank. In addition, technology plays a pivotal role in establishing a long term economic model. Without irrigated farming technology, Africa could not develop its independent agriculture industry to meet its own need. Furthermore, practical advice is an effective measure to minimize the gap between developed and developing countries. If poor countries can avoid the same mistakes that wealthy countries made before, it would be beneficial for poor countries saving their limited resource in improving citizen's living condition and infrastructure. A good example to illustrate this is the poor countries take the advice from World Health Organization. They control wide spread disease, such as malaria, at the early stage before the disease exert detrimental effect on poor countries. Admittedly, financial aid has certain positive effect on supporting needy countries in a short term. However, without tracking monetary assistance, it would lead to corruption or the poor countries may even purchase weapons. Overall, ensuring poor countries can adopt modern technology offered by international organization and following the practical advice are the most important factors to built a sustain economical model in undeveloped countries.
