Congratulations to you to have a new born boy. How are things going? I wanna to visit you one day and give a small present to your baby boy. 

I bought  a pair of small sneakers for your son. It is Jordan Five sneakers, we have dreamed to have these shoes since we were in high school. You probably remember that we could not afford to have this kind of expensive shoes when we were young. But we couldn't stop playing basketball even we only had normal shoes. When I was thinking buying gifts for your kid, sneakers came into my mind. I hoped that your son could have basketball as a hobbit and could get best friend by playing basketball, just like us.

Some people think that spending a lot on holding wedding parties, birthday parties and other celebrations is just a waste of money. Others, however, think that these are necessary for individuals and the society. Discuss both views and give you opinion.

Celebrations, such as birthday parties and wedding parties, cost a large amount of money. Some people think is wasteful  to spend this money on celebrations. Others believe they are crucial to both individuals and society. Even both views have its merits, I am most favor of the second one.  

Celebrations consume lots of time and energy both for individuals and societies. To begin with, individuals need numerous effort to organize parties. Parties are always considered wasteful as there are many friends to call. From friends perspective, it would be a nightmare if they have to attend all the celebrations. In addition to that, people are busy these days, time and money should be spent on other ways rather than parties. Regarding societies, holding a big parties for theirs residents may utilize more resources. Big Parties need large places and police force to ensue they can be carried out on a safety way. 

In contrasts, celebrations are meaningful to both individuals and society. Individual celebration, for instance, one's birthday has the meaning of growing up one year. No one can actually judge the amount of money that spent on holding it. It is also a good opportunity for he or she to rethink this year and invite his or her friends to party as people are busy nowadays. It would be memorable for both individual and friends who attended the parties.  In terms of the meaning to society, celebrations may boost government income as they can get sponsors from holding these events. Take Beijing Olympic Game for example, it not only get income from TV broadcasting, but also brings tourists to Beijing. Consequently, this event contributes to government income. 

Overall, celebrations means something  important to both individuals and societies. Spending money on these events cheer individual up and increase government income.

I am writing to let you know that I am very interested in your brilliant idea of setting up a online shop on eBay. I think it is challenging to sell bags on Internet. However ,  I want to take part in your business as a partner. It is a good opportunity to establish this kind of second income when we are young. 

You probably know that I am very interested in startup a business and achieve financial freedom in the future. I think I can help you in variety of ways as  I  have a degree in computer science and can help you with the online shopping trend. I also think it is a good opportunity for us to work with each others as we have been good friends since high school. We are good teammates for each other. 

I would suggest that we should focus on the online shopping trend. We can advertise our products on twitter as it is wide spread among our friends. Friends maybe help us promote our goods. Also, we can do some survey among our friends. This would help us know our customer better and adjust our marketing strategy and improve our product.
